Machhapuchhre Bank Limited has entered into an agreement with Nepal Clearing House Limited to introduce ‘corporate pay’ system for its institutional customers so that digital payments can be made from bank accounts.
The agreement was signed by Chief Executive Officer of Machhapuchhre Bank Santosh Koirala and Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Clearing House Nilesh Man Singh Pradhan.
After the agreement, the business customers of Machhapuchhre Bank (various organizations, government offices) will not be able to go to the bank through the bank’s mobile banking app and internet banking app from where they can easily transfer funds, pay salaries, pay for various services, pay government revenue and other various business payments.
Through this system, real-time or non-real-time payment transactions can be done in Connect IPS or NCHL IPS. In addition, as the maximum security measures have been adopted by both the bank and ‘corporate pay’ while transacting through this system, the digital transactions of Machhapuchhre Bank will be safe and reliable.
The bank has been providing various digital payment mediums to its customers and the introduction of this ‘corporate pay’ system is believed to further help in providing digital payment services to the bank’s commercial customers as well. After the use and expansion of this system, various payments can be made online without reaching the bank branch, the bank believes that it will be more convenient for business customers.
