Banking news. Siddhartha Bank Limited has provided financial assistance for the reconstruction of the old age home. The bank on Friday provided Rs 200,000 financial assistance to Shri Krishna Pranami Seva Samiti Nepal, located at Gothatar, Ward No. 9, Kageshwari Manohara Municipality, Kathmandu.
The amount will be used by Shri Krishna Pranami Seva Samiti Nepal for the reconstruction of Shri Krishna Pranami Bhawan which was damaged and at risk due to the devastating earthquake in 2072 BS. The old age home has been operated by the committee in the building and after the construction, the building committee will use it for the accommodation of helpless old people. The Bank has taken the amount provided by the bank to the association which has been working for social welfare and will provide shelter and uplifts the welfare of the elderly citizens to some extent.
The Bank has been participating in various social responsibility activities in the areas of education, health, environment, tourism, cultural heritage, infrastructure, and security and will continue to do so in the days to come.
